Yolanda and Todd – Hotel Granduca

I just want to say, I love these two people, they were fantastic to work with, and their love for each other showed soooo much.    Sometimes the weirdest connections put people together and this was no exception.  They are friends of my best friend’s daughter and I forget exactly how they heard of me, but I was very glad they did.  Their wedding day was small, intimate, and spectacular.  enough of me..on to the photos..

They were keeping this little cutie in the hotel room – but he came out to see everyone later!

Todd and Yolanda got emotional during the reception as they thanked everyone for coming and celebrating their day with them (and TJ and Skylar).

Vanessa and Paul, Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral Houston

My first Halloween wedding, although everything took place during the day.  Dang…no excuse for not buying tons of chocolate to pass out to all the little tricker-treaters…which also means, i ate half as much as i handed out, and as usual, I digress.

Vanessa and Paul had a mostly traditional catholic wedding which started early.  If you are one of my clients and have listened to all my sad stories this year, this day started out in true tradition of bad luck.  I listened to my husband – who said… just take 45, at this time of the morning there should be no traffic.  right?  of course.  I wish i had snapped one off as i passed the burning truck that was split in two by the concrete retaining wall..  uh huh.  all done with bad stuff?  of course not.  another accident almost directly in front of the church had the street blocked….but again, it turned out ok.  So on to the photos..

The reception was at Maggiano’s and the food was spectacular.  The bride and groom took a gi-normous amount of group photos, it was really funny.  All in all, a good time was had by all the guests, what could be better…a beautiful day in houston, a couple in love getting married, good friends, good family, good food.  Contratulations Vanessa and Paul!
