Katrina and David’s Wedding… Spring Chateau, Spring, TX

Finally delivered Katrina and David’s photos to them this evening.  I have been so anxious to give them to them.  It’s interesting how sometimes you make a connection with your clients.  I believe i met these two shortly after my oldest daughter moved to Seattle, and my youngest went back to college in New Hampshire.  They weathered their first hurricane ever when Ike came calling last September.  Anyway…I hope you enjoy looking at their photos as much as I enjoyed getting to know them.

The day started with David leaving a note for Katrina to read.

Katrina’s grandmother journals – a truly lost art these days.

Here are the guys looking SMASHING in their kilts..

Katrina’s dress just peeking at us…

What wedding would be complete without a pair of spanx?  Lord knows i have a pair i would gladly give to anyone who wants them…

This is one of my absolute favorite photos…Katrina was so calm and collected while everyone fussed over her.

Emotions are hard to control at weddings…everytime I see a bride cry…I cry too..

Another favorite, but I can’t put my finger on why exactly…

Just after cake cutting..

And the party starts…

I would like to personally thank Viet, who second shot with me – you did an awesome job!

Katrina and David…keep in touch!

Ashlee and Blake

Ashlee and Blake were married on April 25th, 2009 in Magnolia TX at Ashlee’s grandmother’s home.  And a beautiful home it was and a beautiful wedding.  Ashlee and Blake requested mostly black and white photos, but i threw a few in that were in color.

Ashlee has some of the most beautiful eyes, you can tell even without the photo being in color.

I had a lot of fun watching these two peek out of the window to see what was going on.

Seriously..it was only this big.

Now this photo just begs to be captioned…’who me?’

This is just the cutest ever…

Did i mention we were rained on?  3 times.  If you think i might be old, watch me run with my cameras if it starts to rain, i’ll show you who is old.

Kids always find amusing things to take photos of

Course, Ashlee and her bridesmaid found themselves acting like a bunch of kids as well.

All in all – we had a great time.  In fact, I always have a great time.  These folks should be grateful the DJ was rained out – that way they didn’t have to suffer with my singing while taking photos!  Ashlee and Blake are back at school, busy with end of year finals.  I thank the grandparents for allowing me into their home and to Ashlee’s parents for allowing me to share their very special day!
