Rainy Day Photos – Houston Wedding Photography

I had this amazing opportunity thanks to my AMAZING best friend, to photograph Chad Hedrick (Olympic Gold Medalist in Speedskating) during a fund raiser for Special Olympics. The tournament was here in Spring, at the Northgate Country Club which is fantastic. Note for all of you brides, if you are looking for a venue – this place is beautiful. I digress!

I learned last night – that Chad raised over $50,000 for Special Olympics and that next year’s tournament is going to be even larger.  Robert Reid (former Houston Rockets) pledged to have over 20 professional athletes come out for an afternoon of golf and fun. 

In closing, I had a great time, drove my first ever golf cart (those things are FAST), got a golfer’s sunburn on my neck – haha and met some really nice people.

I had so much fun at Monica and Rob’s engagement party.  Monica is so beautiful and I loved loved loved her dress.  Everyone was so nice, the food was fabulous and of course, the dancing is almost the best part…I have become a huge fan of Indian cuisine. Thanks to Ashok for having me shoot this for him.
