Rainy Day Photos – Houston Wedding Photography

I had the pleasure of photographing Vanessa and Christian’s wedding with a good friend DMoreland.  In keeping with Vanessa’s theme of black and white – most of the photos here will BE black and white.  They were a great couple to work with – and as always, Donnie…so are you.

The ceremony took place right after the time change here – so the wedding was literally in the dark.  The golf club brought out one clip on light for us….thanks guys…seriously! 

 

This photo is one of my ‘artistic’ favories from the wedding.  Vanessa and Christian had a Mariachi band (who was wonderful by the way) and I just like the way this one came out.

Snuck one in with color…a toast to the Bride and Groom

I’m sure there is some sort of tradition going on here, but everyone at the reception took turns dancing with the bride and groom.  There seemed to be some sort of requirement for ‘spinning’.

I have had the pleasure of meeting this couple twice now – and they are so much fun to be around, it’s crazy.  I can’t wait to photograph their upcoming wedding in December.  So guys, if you are watching for your photos…here is a tease – it’s my favorite so far.  i’m not done with processing yet, so I’ll send you an email where you can see the rest.
